Principles
The EMIN (European Media Islamic Network) emerged to offer through Internet a wide and unbiased view of what Islam is and to show the activities and views of Muslims in the European space.
EMIN is aimed at giving a voice to the Muslim community in Europe, to show its reality, to help protect their civil rights, and to encourage understanding within European society.
Following the conference held in Madrid, on November 14-15, 2008, all EMIN members accepted a declaration of principles and publication criteria based on shared Islamic values, such as pluralism, social justice, peace, freedom of consciousnes and expression, journalistic integrity, the promotion of civil rights, understanding and cooperation between cultures and religions.
EMIN is an open and non jeraquical network, based in mutual trust and cooperation. Any other media that share this principles is welcome to join us.
